Drug Dealer Couple Arrested

After receiving information about a woman known only as Ty, selling Ya Ice to groups of teenagers and tourists in Walking Street, police set up a sting operation on the morning of the 28th October to catch the dealer.

An undercover agent ordered a bag of Ya Ice to be delivered to a meeting point in Central Pattaya. The woman complied and it wasn’t long before Ty, later identified as 19 year old Mutita Marawung, together with her boyfriend, 21 year oldThannadkit Sanguanchartwong arrived on a motorcycle to deliver the drugs. Once the transaction was done, the police identified themselves and arrested the couple. A female tourist police officer searched the woman and found more Ya Ice crystals hidden in her underwear. They were both taken back to the police station to be charged and now await Class 1 drug offences when they get their day in court.
