This might be more relevant in the "News Clippings" section, which are where both stories come from, but the cops were on the ball and arrested suspects in 2 different cases.

However, in both cases, the suspects escaped. In one case, the suspect was arrested and handcuffed in hospital where he had been sent after a motosy accident. He still managed to escape though.
