Land Holding Companies

Recommended Posts

There has been some worrying stuff in the news this week for anyone controlling land through a minority share in a company. Scares of this kind have come and gone over the years. Wait and see seems have been the advice in the past.

Have things changed enough to make it worth forking out lots of cash to attempt to restructure land holding? Is there enough certainty about what the Thai authorities plan to do with these kinds of companies to know what steps to take? Are there viable alternatives?

I can't see the point of restructuring if it doesn't work. This would be throwing good money after bad.
