April 3, 200521 yr After getting told in the shop that it was Thai-only, but figuring, at worst, I'd have a legal access code for a copy from isohunt, I found out how to get the installer to install in English. First - put CD1 into your drive, and click on cancel when it tries to autorun. Second - create a folder on your desktop, and copy the contents of CD1 into the folder. Once it's copied, go to the Autorun folder, and you'll find an autorun.cfg file. Edit the file in Notepad, changing either the English[uS] or English[uK] to 1 (or whatever language you want it to install in), and the Thai to 0. Third - run the autorun in the folder on your desktop, and suddenly everything is in English. Fourth - once the installer has finished, you can delete the folder from your desktop. I'm not sure if this is going to help anyone, but it had me pulling my hair out, so I thought I'd say something... I believe the original Sims 2 Thai edition had the same workaround, but I actually bought that in the UK before it came out here. (My eldest daughter is addicted to the Sims).
