Hello, I have been living in thailand and I am making the move back to the US.

Does anyone know of a good company that can help me ship my items back to the states?

I actually do not have many things, maybe about 10 boxes at 200kg in total, no electronics.

Also does anyone know how to calculate the import tax for the states.

I don't have a specific recommendation, but who ever you choose, make sure it is door-to-door delivery. I had some furniture delivered from Thailand to the US. It was only delivered to the port (which I understood before hand), but the amount of effort and cost of getting it from the port far outweighed the value of the furniture. Basically, they are only open Mon-Fri which meant I had to take a day off from work. Then when I got there, I was hit with loads of fees which exceeded all cost of shipping I paid beforehand. There was one expensive fee that seemed only to be for the unioned bonded warehouse employee to go into the warehouse and bring my stuff via forklift to the parking lot.
