Advise Sought On True 3g For Jomtien Beach Area

Featured Replies

I've just rented an apartment between Soi Welcome hotel and Soi 12 on Jomtien Beach and will be moving into it in the next few weeks.

The landlord said True 3G wireless is available but I am in BKK and unable to confirm it. The True webs site doesn't list Jomtien Beach as being part of the coverage area.

Has anyone got any experience with True's 3G coverage in this area?

I have an unlocked USB 3G modem that is compatible with the network and need internet from the time I move in.

ANy information will be greatly appreciated.

I don't think it is available........at least that's what the true rep said.

AFAIK no True 3G available outside of Bangkok.

He might mean that there is a True WiFi hotspot in the area, of which there are several in Pattaya, usually in shopping malls.
