My Couch Is Dirty!

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know a company or a person who can come over and clean my couch in my apartment [of course in Bangkok]?

I tried to use some couch cleaning product but it left some stains after it dried....

Help me! Help me! :):D

I had an office chair that was fairly grotty.

We had it recovered by a local guy who does mainly car seats . (not in Bangkok)

I was suprised how little it cost. Nice fabric too.

You guys need to think "outside the square" for a change.

Reading your smart-ass replies to a perfectly good alternative (offered in good faith)

puts people off giving any help to others on this forum.

Besides, your avatars show a distinct measure of immaturity!

Stain removal is often ineffective and a waste of time in my experience.

Recovering is quick and 100% effective.

oh... Thanks for the advice :) - I thought it was BT's, so i'm sorry.

and yeh I am immature.

The thing is this is not my own couch, so recovering it does not sounds so good.

That's what you get for eating cake on your couch everyday. :)

I seem to recall some kind of couch cleaning service with an ad in the back of the UBC guide.

Just like yours is so helpful.

Thithi may just realise that there is a serious lack of cleaning services such as this in Thailand, they must exist but maintaince of such items isnt too high on the majority of thais expenditure list, especially when its so cheap to replace furniture here, albiet cheap and nasty stuff.

....and you, Mr informative would like to ad what?

Back on topic...

Perhaps a steam cleaner is your best option, I think BigC rents them, but I'm not sure. Related to this, I would love to find somewhere that sells small steam cleaners. (not the machines that just make steam to clean your tiles and whatnot, but a vacuum cleaner that has a steam attachment.)

Try Google search for COIT, Thailand, its in Thai, so try clicking on the Translate this page.

Yea, I think that is company I saw the ad for in the TV guide.

That's correct. Attention all shoppers!! On page 88 of the November TrueVisions TV Guide there are 2 cleaning services offered, one being COIT and the other is Cleaning 24.

You think they will also get rid of the smell?

I know it is terrible to puke :D over your sofa but it is better then puking in the street that leads to your room.

Next time place a bucket somewhere near....

:)

Apparently Alex knows more than he is leading on. Or was it Aliens trying to abduct Thithi and slipped on the cake? Do tell.
