Writing An Address For A Letter

Featured Replies

Not sure how to write an address for a letter to send to thailand. I have the address and everything but not sure how to format it, and I don't want any errors in the process of deliver. If anyone could help, that would be great.

name

street

city, province

post code

Thailand

English should be fine

Alright thanks, I'll give this a try. Just kind of confusing

Beyond bangkok if you can get it written inThai may stand a better chance of faster delivery

I find the service here inferior to Oz or France but better than Uk or USA and have never had anything lost rejected or stolen as in Hungary

well I'm not sure what the province / city is lol first time writing a letter overseas, and I'm in America writing to bangkok but the address is so confusing

You shouldn't have any problem if you clearly print the name and address in block letters in English. All post office branches have people who can read English. It only gets confusing if it is sent to some tiny Thai village in the country. Even then it will arrive, but sometimes sit in the post office rather than get delivered.

JUST DON'T SEND MONEY IN THE MAIL!!! Post offices have scanners that can determine if money has been enclosed and more often than not it will be stolen.

For example... this is a fictitious address but would show how it is written. You can change the wording a bit and it will still get there.
