Had Emploment Visa, Left To Work In Another Country For 3 1/2 Months Now Want To Come Back For Holiday

Featured Replies

I was previously employed in Thailand and had an a non-Imm B visa. I left for an assignment 3 1/2 months ago and now I want to visit Thailand for holiday before starting another assignment. Will I have a problem entering since I have only been away for 3 1/2 months?

No. There is no requirement to be away any time.

Their rules change like the seasons so wasn't sure but I though that you couldn't stay more than 90 days in any 6 month period? Also before on Non-Imm B and now just coming back with visa on arrival. Still employed by Thai company but don't want to go through the hassle of visiting the Thai embassy here in Delhi :)

The 90/180 day rule went out the window in Dec-08. Be aware that you cannot legally work on VOA (but you probably know that already).

Cheers Thaiphoon :) Good to know that rule is out for now.
