The Gate Theater, Chiang Mai's only English Language theater group, has added two additional performances to their already extended run of Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple."

Additional performances are scheduled for November 27th and 28th. This is great news because their previous engagement was full for every performance. The seating is limited so lots of folks were unable to see it the first time.

The show comes highly recommended by many who have seen it. There is another thread here on TV with the review and links to photos.

If you are a fan of live theater, performed in English by native English speakers, you can't help but enjoy this production. The cast of international actors have done a superb job putting this show together. Clearly, a lot of hard work has gone into making the show as professional as possible given the limitations they must face.

Entertainment such as this is relatively unheard of in this part of Thailand.

Let's support their efforts!

A Fan1!

I heard yesterday that these performances have had to be postponed until February due to illness of an actor. Check it out folks before you make plans.

I went to see this play during its last run and it's well worth going to.

Yeh, unfortunately that's correct.

Just talked with one of the actors and he said another actor is ill (he didn't sound very healthy himself as well, huge cold as he said) and therefore the whole thing has to be postponed.

Too bad and sad. :) Hadn't had the opportunity to go last time and was looking forward going this time.
