What Did He Mean?

Featured Replies

Andrew Biggs usually provides a chortle on Sunday but in last Sunday's column, ( Nov 8), he wrote in mid sentence,' there's a paedophile in all of us.'

I looked for the pun, joke, gag, irony but I couldn't find anything to not take it at face value.

Please point out the joke to me.

I believe Andrew is of the Oscar Wilde persuation, not that it matter. and I'm sure his comment was not meant to be offensive. Probably just a bad attempt at a bit of Cambodian expat humour.

Note that we do not discuss paedophily on the forum. Any discussion about that and this topic will be closed.

Could anyone post the entire sentence or paragraph?

I don't recall the whole sentence but I seem to to recall that there was mention of Michael Jackson so maybe the P word was in relation to that. I did not get the joke either and to be honest any jokes related to that particular practice are almost always likely, at best, to fall into the 'bad taste' category.

Is this the guy who acts like a clown on TV? The one the Isaan people all take the piss out of?

That's good Mario. I'd hate to discuss a word that doesn't actually exist. :)

If there was one farang I could deport at will it would be Andrew Biggs.
