November 13, 200916 yr Our daughter needs some help with her Chemistry. She did not do a UK GCSE in Chemistry but is forced to do it as part of her baccalaureat because of her career choice, so she has some serious catching up to do. She is English, 16 and a scholarship student at NIST expecting to go to medical school in the UK. Please contact us if you can help - we will require refs and proof of ID and qualifications etc Jonathan & Sofie
November 13, 200916 yr Where are you located (City and area)? Are you willing to accept a non-native speaker, such as an Indian or Filipino? How many hours per day/week? Tutoring in your home or elsewhere? Approximate level of pay? These would help in finding someone.
November 13, 200916 yr At the level you wish to have your daughter tutored, and assuming you want home visits, with the qualifications required and the travel required (if generally in the central Bangkok area) you should be offering at least 900B/hr to have any chance of attracting good candidates- and I am sorry, but considering the target (UK medical school), a 'good candidate' means you want a native English speaker, preferably with long-term IB experience, preferably a UK citizen.

Well we're located in Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 8 - I thought the reference to NIST would make it fairly clear and if a teacher hadn'theard of it then they probably aren't suitable candidates
