Internet Without Phone Line?

Featured Replies

Sorry if this ones been done already.

I have been trying to get a phone line for the last 6 months and have been told by both TNT and TOT that there are no more lines available for my area and they are unable to give me any time period only that if a line is canceled I might get lucky.

I was just wondering if anybody uses any other means to get internet and what sort of costs and quality they have experienced.

I am located in the North East of Thailand, Udon Thani so I would immagine the choice is limited but just on the off chance.

TIA

Sorry cant help. If you posted in the internet /pc forum you might have had more luck. Maybe one of the mods can move it?

There are options, You sound just like me 18 months ago.

I now use Ipstar at around 4k baht per month. Not the cheapest but at least I can now surf around.

Have a look in this forum for more details.

Good luck.

AIS GPRS current unlimited program 1200 baht a month. Do your homework, many threads on this subject.

Thanks chaps,

Not easy doing the homework in a super slow internet net cafe if you know what I mean, I will check into those options you mentioned though,

Thanks again,
