No not yet. Keep me informed. Is it 1st person shooter? I take it ,its a war game?

It's very nice game all right - I do like these thinking man's FPS games

Also give SWAT 4 a go - It's a refreshingly different FPS game. You have to follow the SWAT rules of engagement which means you can't go in guns blazing everytime, using less lethal options is often the best way. You have to think all the time and the missions are brilliantly designed and very varied

Been playing FarCry. But i just cant seem to get into it. Like i did with Half Life 2 and Riddick. Always on the look out for something new that will spark my interest. Farcry has nice visuals but ... I dont know its just isn't sparking my interest much. Maybe its me? I dont know? Will give its another go when i'm on holiday from work again.

I'm getting ready to give Half-Life 2 a second go. Loved it.

The Medal of Honor series is great if you haven't tried it yet.

very similar to Call of Duty....Possibly the same character and unit. Also similar to MOH

Battleground Vietnam is useless.....Thank god I bought it in Thailand and not here...saved heaps.

Vietcong is an excellent first shooter game...although the multiplayer has gone downhill.

Medal of honour is quite a good game...but the multiplayer seems non existant.

Haven't got very far yet,the game is good,its a little different from other war shooters,you do have to do a bit of planning,and getting used to the controls is hard(for me anyway),but I think I'm gamed out for a while after playing so many over the last few years.

To sum up yes the game is good,I'm just bored playing them for a while.

Has anyone else played this Brothers in Arms game. I might go tomorrow and buy it. Or if anyone can give me any other options of FPS game. Thanks.

I am about half way through and disappointed. The "strategy" element is restricted to managing two squads; one of which lays down suppressing fire and the other attacks. There is little opportunity to vary this approach, especially as the game severely limits the path you can take on a mission. This seems to be a common feature of this type of game and I personally find it intensely annoying; especially after playing games like Operation Flashpoint which give total freedom of movement.

Checkpoint saves can be infrequent and thus you are required to play some sections over and over again as you work out the optimum approach; I find this more boring than challenging.

Just a personal opinion!

Silent Hunter 3 has had some amazing reviews. I was told by the games shop in Tuk Com Pattaya that it will be released in Thailand on 30th April.

Jockstar,have you tried the earlier star wars,the jedi knights,the last couple they have brought out have been squad based,which I dont enjoy.

Don't be put of buy the light saber play,its easy when you get used to it,and its not all the time,the games included some great puzzels as you go along which can stump you for a while.Also the story line is good.

Also a new game i saw today in pattaya is Cold Fear,looks ok,but I did not buy it yet,

I looked at Jedi Knights. But i actually bought Contract J.A.C.K. The same people who brought you NOLF 2. Just started to play yesterday. Seems ok. Havent played today YET! As i got one wicked hangover. Maybe later though.
