Save Earth T-shirts

Featured Replies

I'm sure you have seen those 'Save Earth' or what they're called t-shirts around.

Does anyone else the idea of wearing such a t-shirt is stupid in Thailand? I mean, the way Thai people use energy and pollute the enviroment, it's kinda hypocritical to wear one while sitting in traffic in your big 4x4, aircon blazing, throwing your ten 7-11 plastic bags out of the window. Eh?

I thought the rest of the world had finally realized that the 'Climate Change' (remember when it was 'global warming') agenda is a scam set up to line the pockets of Al Gore and get us to pay carbon tax. But in Thailand it seems to be a novel idea.

SAVE EARTH!!

It's because some thai pop stars were flogging the slogan during some crappy show so now all the little sheep have to jump onto the bandwagon because it's become trendy. Apparently the knockoffs are a decent seller because the t-shirt merchants I see have all variations of it on display.

Did the ones wearing that Safe Earth t-shirts do it? No?

A lot of little children and some wet adults still believe in Mr Gores scary climate story :)

At least, those shirts are creating jobs for little kids in China and Bangladesh. :)

I wonder how many toxic and polluting chemicals where released into the atmosphere to make those T-shirts.

That's just it isn't it?

I think it's a great idea to look out for the enviroment but how much is actually going to change? Ecology is far down the list on priorities in the developing world, so to be it just seems stupid. Think about how much plastic could be saved just on drinking straws alone! :)

I have seen them selling them for 100 baht for 3 shirts on the local market.

I thought that was reason why so many people had them on.

Silly me I didn't realise it was a save the earth initiative. :)

Wow.. According to that list, Cambodja must be an ecological Paradise.

This "story" is still better than Mr. Bush's WMD story.

Lets not forget the environmental impact of using diesel trucks to deliver drinking water to a nation of 60 million.
