Man shot dead as he catches fish at local lake

Pattaya, November 19 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : On Wednesday Evening, Police Colonel Somnook, the Chief of Banglamung Police along with other senior officers made their way to a lake in Takiendier sub-district to investigate the aftermath of a fatal shooting which resulted in the death of a 25 year old man, who appears to have been fishing at the time of his death. Khun Wirapon, who had just finished working in Bangkok as a noodle vendor, had been shot three times in his head, shoulder and neck. A cousin of the victim soon arrived and explained that he had finished working in Bangkok due to problems with fellow vendors and decided to come to Pattaya to stay with family. Police are now exploring the possibility that he was killed because of the dispute with other vendors in Bangkok or over relationship issues. A witness came forward and told Police that he did not see the shooting take place but did see a single Thai Man leave the area at speed on a motorbike moments after the shooting took place. A description of that man is now with Police who are attempting to find the shooter at this time.
