passport: Belgian valid untill 2013

visa: O multiple must be utilized before: 08/04/2010

admitted: 25 sep 2009 untill:23 dec 2009

64 y old, 800 k in thai bank since july 2009

Question:

I want to go back to Belgium early march. What is my best option:

go to Lao for a week or so before 23 dec 2009 and take new stamp upon reentering Thailand (so, not at Thai emb or cons)

or

go to immigration office at Arunyaprathet around 20 dec 2009?

will both give the same result?

will I need reentry permit

You can not stay longer by going to immigration office - you must leave Thailand on or before 23 December. On return (before 08/04) you will receive a new 90 day permitted to stay stamp. It makes no difference where you go (other than minor visa fees for other country).
