Lost Scb Bank Book And Atm Card

Featured Replies

Ok so the other day I think I left my SCB atm card in the machine. So I called them up about getting a new one and they said I need to go into any branch with my bank book, ok but Ive lost my bank book, so now apparently I have to go and file a police report and take that along with my passport to my 'home' branch so that I can get a new book so I can then get a new atm card. Is this true???

Also, do I need my passport or anything else when filing the police report?

that is correct this way it protects the bank from later claims that may or could occur. it is a fast process, we you go to the bib take the same i d you would take to the bank if you were going to withdraw money from your account.

Yep, same process at Siam City bank. Passport should be fine to prove your ID at police station.

Ok thanks, to save me several journeys do I need to take a proof of residence to the police also and does it need to be my local station?

When I got a report once the station I went to wasnt my local one , so I would guess that any is ok. You dont need proof of residence but if I were you I would take along your wife or girlfriend to do the talking. (assuming she is Thai of course)

HL :)
