Today there has been a topic about problems with a washing machine purchased from and installed by a local retailer.

This topic has rightly been closed.

From my experience:

If you purchase something from a local retailer or at a mall and have them install it and if then something goes wrong DO NOT contact the retailer (their service staff are not trained!).

Call the service center of the manufacturer . If equipment is still under warranty they will come and service it at no cost.

If they can prove that the problem is due to bad installation they will charge the retailer rather than the buyer.

Just make sure you register the warranty with the manufacturer as soon as you receive the equipment.
