Wont Download Album Info

Featured Replies

Hello guys, ive been ripping all my cds to my media player on my laptop offline. Before, when i went online the album info would automatically download. Its not now,any ideas, what can i do??Thanks in advance,Andy.

Need to rip online unless you want to type all of that rubbish yourself. The media players link to a dBase and pull the info down.

If you used Pinnacle's (Steinberg's) MYMP3PRO* for your ripping (and everything else you could ever need with respect to mp3s) you can install a copy of one of the dbases on your machine.

How up to date it is, I cannnot say.

*Lowest Price: $21.46 at CDW Corporation

You should also know that not all not CDs are in the CDDB database. For those who are not (and that's the case for many CDs produced in Asia), obviously you won't be able to dowload the album info, regardless of whether you are on line or not while you rip.
