I was planning to go to Mae Sai on Dec 7. I see the King's birthday is Dec 5 but also some observance on Dec 7. Will immigration be closed for any of those days?

7th Dec is a public holiday in Thailand, so immigration offices will be closed. Immigration offices not open on 5th (Saturday). Border points will remain open.

The border processing will not be closed but Immigration offices are always closed on weekends and holidays (7th is a holiday).
