Was downtown yesterday meeting some folks passing through from Saudi. They needed to change some green and I happened to remember the VASU place right under the Nana Skytrain station. Never been inside before.

They change a couple hundred dollars at a real great rate for green:

$100 bill, baht 33.15

$ 50 , 33.10

The Siam Commercial Bank's rate for those were: 32.83 32.38 http://www.scb.co.th/exchange/bk-txtexchange.htm

I didn't take note of other currency rates.

You are right. Vasu is the right place! And their rates depend as well on the total amount you change....the more the better...and (at least the last time I changed some money there) they do not charge any commission. Commercial banks do!

Vasu is definatly the best place in BKK. You can even get an espresso opposite if there is a queue.

Does anybody know if they would also be OK for exchanging Baht into Euros or whatever?
