Getting Extra 3 Months On 1 Year Multiple Entry

Featured Replies

Sorry if this is trivially simple, but I couldn't find an answer to my exact question.

My 1 year multiple entry non-immigrant visa expires on 12 Feb 2010 (originally obtained by Siam Legal a year ago).

To get my extra 3 months, do I have to either:

a Leave and re-enter Thailand before 12 Feb

or

b Leave Thailand before 12 Feb and re-enter after 12 Feb

or

c Is it unimportant whether I re-enter before or after the visa expiry?

Hope I have written this clearly, and sorry if it's a bit pedantic, but I want to get this right and get my extra 3 months.

Thanks :)

Leave and re-enter before 12 February.

Yes you must re-enter before the 12th Feb otherwise your visa will have expired and you will not get your 'extra' 90 days.

Hi Guyz, I am just wondering maybe you could help me to gather some information, As I will need to go outside of thailang to get a multiple entry visa, the ministry of labor already issued a work permit, is somebody can help me to get the requirements for applying the multiple entry visa. Thank you

Have a look at the MFA website here. Within the region you can obtain multiple entry Non B visa at:

KL - but need at least 8 months remaining on WP

Penang - but company must have registered share capital of at least 8 million baht

Have seen recent report of success at Kota Bharu but little information provided

or travel outside the region and believe Perth will issue against simple letter of introduction/WP.
