ไปวันวัน

I checked in 3 dictionaries and it's not there.

I asked a couple of Thais and could make head nor tail of their answers.

I googled it and got lots of hits often after ไร้สาระ

It appears to be an adverbial phrase.

My stab in the dark is "without thought to the future" or "carefree". This is almost certainly incorrect.

It does appear in the Domnern-Sathienpong dictionary, as "from day to day". The example given is รัฐมนตรีต้องแก้ปัญหาชาติ ไม่ใช่เล่นการเมืองไปวันๆ, with the translation "Instead of playing politics from day to day, the Minister should be solving national problems."

However, I'd add that [verb]ไปวันๆ is also often used to describe doing something without purpose or enthusiasm.

What's your sentence?

Thanks for your answer.

Unfortunately I've deleted the message that contained the sentence that contained ไปวันวัน. However, I recall it referred to just sitting around being unemployed. Perhaps something like ....อยู่ไรัสาระไปวันวัน Although that was not it exactly.

"Pointlessly" "Aimlessly"???
