I have posted this in the Krabi section as well.

We need to get from Krabi to Hua Hin and I have the following questions-

Which train station to use Surat Thani or Trang? Which is the closest to Krabi (I have no idea)

How much would a private taxi cost to get to the train station?

Can I get a private taxi to take me to Hua Hin and how much would it cost and could I book it once in Krabi or do I need to do this before we get there.

We travel in under 4 weeks and I am in a panic!!

Many thanks

Julie

Go by bus, it's much more convenient and a lot quicker.

Catch a Bangkok bound bus from Krabi bus station but only book a ticket as far as Hua Hin and get off there. Make sure the conductor knows u want to get of at Hua Hin. U could catch a VIP bus at 0730 and get to Hua Hin about 1630(4.30pm)

Failing a Bangkok bound bus, u can catch one bus to Surat Thani then get another up to Hua Hin.

If there is more than one person just take a taxi. Have your hotel get you one or make arrangements yourself. Go taxi hotel to hotel. The questions you are asking are best answered right outside your hotel when you talk to a taxi driver or at the hotel desk. You panic with 4 weeks to go wow doesnot take much tto panic you.
