Can anyone tell me why the yahoo website always gets an 'm' in front of it these days? It happens on different computers and I'm a bit concerned it might be a virus. Thanks.

Usually websites make a subdomain (m.domain.com) for their mobile versions of pages.

When their webserver receives a request, it can detect if the request comes from a mobile device (in most cases) and if it does it will redirect to the mobile version.
