You have confused the direction signs on the right with the safety sign that is on the right. Proves my point that you wouldn’t know safety sign if you fell over it. That someone has a self belief that they don’t need to read the safety signs on the road is part of the problem. It is no wonder that you get yourself into accidents if you believe that. Here, I circled it for you. -

Yes I agree and it even says so in the Thai Land Traffic Act! (not that anyone seems to read it) I've had to tell my wife many times that she should walk on the right when there's no footpath, but I'm still not sure that she's got the message. Sadly, neither did this unfortunate couple. -

Probably why South America is so fugged up... the spaniards have a great culture, food, language etc but are a fickle bunch nonetheless. Spanish colonialism: Mexico, Argentina, Colombia etc lol British colonialism: US, Canada, Oz (never mind), NZ etc Massive difference in mindset. Alright, the US is all over the shop of late and Oz is, well, Oz (never mind), but the mindset in having a go at tourists is proper Spain. Not the sharpest tools in the shed. -

Traffic Public Skepticism Persists as Thailand Enforces New Traffic Fine System
Teachers and sometimes the Police outside my sons school watching young kids on motor bikes and parents with no helmet, no action taken. Over the W.E. they have repainted the red and white crossings and put more Road markings down outside the school, no idea why as I doubt the majority of drivers don’t know what they mean.
