Quick question for the wise old owls on TV. Do airlines only add miles to frequent flyer members accounts when they actually fly or can the account be linked to a passenger who isn't a member? Reason I ask is because a friend will fly out with emirates tomorrow and I just remembered I have a EK frequent flyer account.

Only if they are a family member, on the account and have a frequent flier card.
