Hi :)

I am traveling to thailand this month. I have a disease in my gut so I need special vitamins and the governments rules here in my country (Norway) are very strict so its a lots of job to get them in here. (It is SO much paper work...).

I was wondering if anyone know if thai government are so strict?

This is a normal vitamin supplement that I can buy in a health store in us. But norwegian governments says that since it contains biotin it is a drug..

Thanks for any replays :D

Eidt - Because then I can ask the health store to send it to my house in thailand.

I doubt you would have a problem entering Thailand, just tell them they are vitamins. They don't seem to be very strict at checking things like that anyway.

Don't think you have a problem if vitamines for personel use BUT :)

By Thai law (restricted items) is Food and drugs and under this law you need to have a goverment permit for all food and drugs when crossing the border

the department responseble for this is the Food and drugs administration.

Perhaps you should explain further, you say you are travelling to Thailand but you are asking about Thai post office?

Let me make a wild guess that the OP wants to know if these vitamins can be sent here using the Thai Post?

He did not name the vitamins but I bet a health food store here will have them.

The op also stated he is travelling here, would be easier to bring with what he requires rather than deal with lost post/import duty.
