He can try to get a 1 year multiple non-O visa from a friendly consulate in Europe, based on visiting you. Would mean he has to make a bordeer run every 90 days.

((EDIT)) for one year only expect the multi entry visa would be easier - especially if he plans to do some travel while here.

Thank you very much, i think the Multiple is the best way than he Travel orund also.

After having coffee and told otherwise you do not seem to have option of his getting extension of stay and you seem to be here under 2.18 extension of stay and that is not listed for 2.20. So yes - the multi entry non immigrant visa is his best bet.

An alternative could be a one year education visa to learn Thai lang
