jimky
I've come to Thailand two times on tourist Visa. I've been here 90 days this time (60 days + 30 day extension) and am now going home (USA) to visit for Holidays and to settle some things, leaving later today. I'm returning to Thailand on December 30. On February 13 I'll be getting married to my Thai girlfriend. The purpose of my next trip is technically marriage. I'm assuming I still apply for a tourist visa the same I did b4, but just wanted to check if this is correct. Is tourist visa the appropriate visa to use when coming to thailand for the purpose of getting married to a thai? I'm 30 years old, US passport, planning to live in Thailand long term. I'm already renting a home here. Just a quick confirmation is all I ask for that yes tourist visa is still correct / only option. I ask because US has a separate Visa for those coming there with the purpose of getting married, but pretty sure nothing like this exists for Thailand.
