Biking In Thailand Near Bkk

Featured Replies

hi

just bought a Trek 3900 and want to take it for a ride, but where? Anybody knows good locations?

I will go to KOh samet soon but i hear Ayuttaya is good too.

Anybody got experience about taking the bike on the bus?

Surprised none of the regulars had an answer for you, Sid. I can't help with biking in BKK, nor can I give you an absolute answer about buses there. All I can tell is that up north, there's never a problem putting a bike on a bus. I've done it a dozen times, from VIP buses to local 15 baht buses. Usually it goes underneath with the luggage. On the local buses it goes inside in the back. If there's a lot of luggage on the bus you may have to remove the front wheel to get it in.

Enjoy the riding.

Where do you live in BKK?

I have never taken my bike on a bus, but I have taken in on trains.
