Can anybody advise where in Chiang Rai city area to look / buy either new or used (preferably used) weight lifting bench for my condo (Chiang Rai Condotel)?

It's funny you mention that. So happens a farang friend left one with me, plus a small suitcase of hand weights. You can have them all for the price of an omelet sandwich at the Bakery: Bt.120. I'll deliver to the lobby of Condotel.
