The New Nakhon Sawan Immigration Office

Featured Replies

Nakhon Sawan now has its own immigration office. Before everybody had to go to 250 km far Tak immigration office in Mae Sot (at the border to Burma).

The new immigration office is at the same place, the Tourist Police was already before: Sawanvithee Road 49 (that's also a big police station, so when asking a Tuk Tuk driver for the Sawanvithee Road police station, you're always right.

For those, who travel with own car:

From Bangkok (Highway 2) just drive inside Nakhon Sawan. You'll see after some traffic signs the BigC on the left. At this traffic signs in front of the BigC just turn left (opposite Nakhon Sawan center). From Kampaeng Phet you'll see the the BigC of course on the right. Additional there's a tall beam with a clock and temperature on its top in front of the traffic signs (in the middle of the road) where you have to turn right.

You are already in Sawanvithee Road. After a few 100 meters you'll see a PTT pump station. Pass this till you come to some smaller traffic signs (can only turn right or straight). Also pass this traffic signs and turn the next soi left. On the right site is already the police station. drive about 50 m and turn left at the gate. On the right site you'll see some bigger buildings and in front of you a smaller one. This is the Tourist Police and Immigration office. You can park in front of that building.

The officers there are very friendly, only their English is not the best (at least like this when I visited last time :) ). So it maybe makes sense to have someone for translate with you :D

This wonderful news,I think. I have a multi entry visa, so I can now go to the office in Nakhon Sawan instead of taking a day to go to Mae Sot and back, am I correct in this if so it means I can have an extra visit to the SYPING restaurant(KO SI Road) excellent.
