This did remind of the second night of my human's first visit to Kunming : he was in a very low-rent hotel, and had make the mistake of having a local fish for dinner in a local restaurant.

All night long, as he crawled or staggered back and forth to the toilet, getting weaker and weaker, trying and failing to stay hydrated, two enthusiastic young backpackers, Italian, I believe, in the room next door (and the walls were quite thin) were making whoopee at the top of their lungs while the scent of ganja was drifting under the door of his room.

An interesting night. Difficult to meditate that night
