Just got back from a Vientiane run. They nicked several Thai girls for 300 baht for not having a stamp on their entry VISA. Accidentally forgetting of course. The girls (including my wife) were pretty pissed, but what could they do?

Didn't see them do this larceny to any falang...but one guy we shared a ride with said they nicked him for 20,000 baht. Same scam. This part is hearsay...

Oh sorry, forgot to say this was on the Laos side. Entry into Laos.
