Ken
Wow! I don't know many people in the $100K and up (USD) range, and the ones I do, wouldn't be interested in the "Thailand Elite" club anyway.
ovenman
Wow! I don't know many people in the $100K and up (USD) range, and the ones I do, wouldn't be interested in the "Thailand Elite" club anyway. Aside from the issues that we have already talked to death in previous threads regarding the future viability of the elite card program, I've always thought that targeting this high-end market was a non-starter. The real high rollers aren't all that interested in Thailand.

ExNewMex
I really like that they don't even bother to check and see if you've got the right to be in their special line at immigration. Anyone who wants can use it.

Anyone who wants can use it. For as few elite cards as have actually been sold, one would think that the immigrations officials are on a first-name basis with the actual card holders. You don't stand at the special line, but one rep. takes your p/ports, the officer counts how many pax and how many p/ports he gets, then wait in the lounge until they arrive with your luggage and your stamped p/ports. Usually, I am travelling on my own, so how to use this line without being a member?
