Does anyone know the situation regarding car parking at U-Tapao airport? I may have to fly to Phuket for a few days and it would be good if I could just drive down to U-Tapao and leave the car there.

U-Tapao is basically a military base with just a small domestic terminal so they may be a bit sensitive about vehicles being left unattended. Anyone done this?
