Gents, we started new project with servers located at Internet Data Center. The reason is simple - to have complete control of what's running on it, unlimited space ( well 120Gb mirrored SATA HDDs), brand new server hardware and own applications.

there're few providers who would be happy to stick my box in their rack, but are they reliable/secure/honest enough ?

please share some experience, mutually beneficial.

IDC looks impressive, any idea how much bandwidth do they provide per server?

as much as you can buy. not per server, but connection/port. if you want - they give you "lotsa love" but it would be up to you - hook it to one box or route to whole rack of 30 servers.
