Dear All,

I've read lots of threads on how to get money back home (UK) after bringing it in to Thailand.

One option being a Singapore or KL run with a few mates and taking $20,000 each time/each mate.

Bank it with HSC Singapore and send from there. (Has anyone donethis OK?)

Another route being using ATMs abroad.

I have 4 Bank of Ayudhya accounts/ATMs I could use, has anyone used theirs in the UK and if so

how much could you take out each transaction or each day and what were the costs ?

PS I've been trying the normal route for 5 weeks now and Bank of Thailand just keep stalling ....

The call center in Thailand should be able to answer this. Usually some sort of transaction fee charged by BAY (100bt ?), plus exchange rate-related mark-ups.
