Is Timber Framing Size Lumber Available?

For instance, 7” by 10” would be a nice ballpark size. The biggest I have seen at lumber yards is about 4” by 4” which is too small. If nothing big is sold, are portable sawmills available so one could process their own trees? This query is for Phetchabun province though interested in understanding the situation in other areas. Am not interested in cement, stick, or metal framing.

It defo is in Chiang Mai. The one merchant has half-metre teak by about 4m and a variety of sizes down, plus there are also random places selling off sections of old teak-built factories with similar sizings. That wood is even better as it's ancient teak and solid as. If I were you, I'd just drive around the area and look for the latter, or you could always save money by using concrete and making it look like wood.

Perhaps better to go to the rural villages and buy a wood house or two and use the material from them, not difficult to buy some wonderful hand sawn teak houses at around Baht 300k a shot.
