I would be interested from anyone who uses Ipstar to make VOIP calls.

In particular...

Is the connection speed ( both ways ) fast enough for good quality calls ?

Is the connection reliable ?

Any other relevent information or experiences will be appreciated.

No experience with IPStar. It is a sattelite after all, so it will have a delay. For VOIP it can be distracting. But if you are used to it, i think it will work ok.

I use skype with dialup on a cheap unlimited card and it works great.

It works but the delay is not as good as ADSL or other fixed line service.. small ping delays in the 2 ways sat give you that 'both talking at once' feeling..
