Hello , i intend to live in thailand with my thai wife. Does anyone know the requirements for bringing a dog into thailand. I contacted the customs and they advise i just need a health certificate from the vet, but i read somewhere you need written permission from your local administration where you intend to live in thailand, is this the case.

the requirement to bring a dog back to Australia are :quarantine in a certified vet for 6 months (only in Hongkong) plus quarantine in Australia for 6 months when arriving there
