Featured Replies

heading back to oz tommorow at noon & am hearjng many stories about the traffic tommorow since all are ending their holidays.

Family is saying it`s ok in the morning, so i am hoping it`s not another mai pen rai.

coming from Korat

So what are your thoughts & experiences :)

Leave early!!!

Last year my ex wife drove from Korat to Bkk and it took 9 hours instead of the usual 4.

I second it. Korat is a nightmare - the mother of all traffic jams.. Leave as early as possible

I wouldn't leave after 9am, and probably nearer to 5 or 6am to get back with my sanity intact.

I get around this by not leaving Bangkapi or Pratumnak depending on where I'm at for the 'major' holidays. Or not being in the country at all.

:)
