Ed- Visa For Learning English...

Featured Replies

I have one question about this ED- visa, is okay to study English and get same cind of visa and were can i study English to get a ED visa?

I don't wont to learn a new language and be then be denied to stay. I can not imagine the purpose of that. But English... wow, the hole world is open!

My wondering is... is there a school in Bangkok ho teach English and give you/me a ED- visa?

As far as I am aware, it must be a foreign language (i.e. it won't fly learning English in Thailand if you're a Brit or a Septic etc). I've seen courses in Korean and Japanese (and there are mostly likely Chinese too) in addition to the normal Thai, from some of the schools that offer the Ed Visa paperwork.

The thing to think about is how likely is it that English language schools here have the necessary experience to get you through the immigration side of things, the paperwork etc.

Thank you for the quick reply!

However, im from sweden and i could do a lot better if i know more english than a few new words in thai.

Maby the paperwork gets done if you wave the money in their face... just joking! But money talk... so i herd.

I really dont want to learn the thai language .... how can i if my english is not good inoff. Its a waist of money and time!

I want to learn more english!....... And so should also the nativs think!

I hope someone can give me a school name ho tech english with a ED- visa.

Unless I am mistaken, as long as engrish is NOT your mother tongue, you can get a visa to study it here in thailand. With that being said, most if not all private thai language schools will make you pay a year's tuition up front to supply you with the appropriate paperwork you need to acquire the Non-O-Type-ED visa.

I'd check with the forum sponsors, MTL, Walen/Callan, Language Express as they offer engrish classes.

MODZ: How about moving this to the visa forum so the O/P will get more responses, perhaps even some from the forum sponsors who have language schools?
