Non-o Multi Extension

Featured Replies

I have a Non-o (married with Thai spouse) Visa Multi that will expire on 14 Jan. I wish to extend 2 months for wife visit (as seen as I cannot leave Thailand for at least 2 weeks).

As seen as now I am living in Hua Hin, but at the time of Visa issue I gave my old Bangkok address, can I extend Visa in Hua Hin Immigration office or I must go to Bangok?

Which documents are needed for extend it?

Many thanks

A multi entry visa has no location assigned to it - you obtain that from a Consulate outside Thailand so any office should be able to extend it if you are located in there area. You will need proof of marriage and wife (go with you). TM.7 form with current photo attached and 1,900 baht. Photo copies of passport/marriage certificate/visa/entry and departure card will likely be required as well as wife ID card. For marriage extension of stay they would also require copy of her home register and that could be a problem if out of area from some reports - but don't believe it will be asked for the 60 days.

Thank you lopburi3...

Do you know how much is amount for extension? On Immigration website is a bit ambiguous, they wrote 3,800 THB and 1,900 both for Multi Non-O...

All extension of stay are 1,900 baht.

3,800 baht would be the cost of a multi re-entry permit (for those on long extensions of stay who travel often).
