A Great Hotel In The North

Featured Replies

Me and two mates did a big trip for 6 days around the north of Thailand, and one night we had a great stay, where I feel, the hotel staff went out of their way to ensure we were happy.

Three of us checked out the hotel, 2 of us went to look at the room while the third stayed with the bikes. I liked it immediately, as it was brand new, and done in a modern Asia style. Similar to The Chedi in Chiang Mai. Very tastefull. They would give us the room for 3000B total. So, thats a 1000B each. One of the guys wanted to check out other places, so, I stayed back while they went scouting. They came back and now the third guy wanted to see the room, so the staff took us up yet again. As we were outside discussing it, a huge group of 40 showed up, and by the time we got back in side, the room that they had shown us was gone!!

I was disappointed, but the Assistant Manager, Khun Of, offed to upgrade us to a suite, for no extra charge. Wow, what a room. But the problem was there was one only one double bed. Well, they said we could have another single bed put into the room, so that would now mean 2 of us would have to share the double. But, when we asked if it would be possible to have ANOTHER single bed brought into the suit, the made it happen, for no extra charge. So there we were, all with our own beds in this fab suit, all for 1000B each!

Will post some pics. I highly recommend this place, you will not find anything better.
