Rimmer
Just after 5.30 on Friday Morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Norawit dealt with a case reported by Mr. Pasi Tapani Virtanen aged 43 from Finland at Pattaya Police Station. He explained that he had taken a Baht Bus from Soi 10 off Pattaya Second Road to the View Talay Condominium located off the Tappraya Road in Jomtien. As the bus approached the overpass leading to the Bali Hai Port, two men on a motorbike pulled up beside the vehicle and the passenger reached over and snatched Mr. Virtanen’s Gold Necklace with Buddhist Amulet which he claims is worth around 300,000 Baht. The Baht Bus Driver became aware of the theft and attempted to catch up with the motorbike which fled in the direction of Jomtien, without success. A Police Report was made and Police will do their best to recover the stolen item and catch the two suspects. www.pattayaone.net/ [newsfooter][/newsfooter] 2010-01-
