If you have enough money, you can immigrate to Thailand. You should ask at the Thai Embassy in your home country. They can answer these questions.

Moved to Thai visas, residency and work permits

Yes you can live in Thailand, if you have enough money 400,000 baht in the bank or 40,000 baht a month income. You can work but that depends on your skills and what you plan on doing, you cannot have a job reserved for a thai. Maybe teach Farsi.

Do a search on this site lots of info about working in Thailand.

Marriage does not provide immigration or work ability.

If you support wife with proof of 400k baht in Thai bank account for 2 months or monthly income of 40k you may quailify for one year extensions of stay on a normal non immigrant O visa 90 day entry (which is the longest visa entry available to those married).

To work you must have a work permit and that would require a Thai company that is authorized to obtain and work that is authorized for a foreigner. Work permit jobs are not easy to find.
