cougar52
I have a permission to stay based on retirement that needs to renewed on 09 APR 2010 and my next 90 day report is 12 MAR 2010. To simplify my question, do I have to go to my Immigration Office twice (once on the 12 MAR and again on 09 APR for my renewal) or can I do my renewal on the 12 th of MAR on that same date that I do my 90 day report? Thank you in advance.
Lite Beer
Usually they like you to apply up to 30 days early, so yes you should be able to to both things at the same time.
bellste
When you renew your visa, you will get a new slip for 90 day reporting, starting on the day that you get the new visa.
lopburi3
You do not get a new 90 day reporting slip for an extension of stay renewal. You get a new slip when you file a TM.47 report not a TM.7 extension of stay.
Lite Beer
Yes. 90 day reports and extension applications are two separate procedures and nothing to do with each other. Unless it is the first application for extension.
InterestedObserver
When you renew your visa, you will get a new slip for 90 day reporting, starting on the day that you get the new visa. You cannot renew a visa, what you get is an extension of stay.
